The Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager monitors the Windows Application log on computers running Exchange 2010 and generates this alert when the events specified in the following Details table are logged.

Rule Name

OALGen is running on an SCC cluster node which does not have the registry value 'OabDropFolderLocation' or it is set to a non-existing path.

Explanation

This Error event indicates that the registry value HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeSA\Parameters\{ClusterMailboxServerName}\OabDropFolderLocation is missing or is set to a nonexistent path.

User Action

To resolve this error, do one or more of the following:

  • Make sure that all single copy cluster nodes are running a released version of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. For more information about managing single copy clusters, see Managing Single Copy Clusters.

  • Make sure that all shared storage is online.
