The Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager monitors the Windows Application log on computers running Exchange 2010 and generates this alert when the events specified in the following Details table are logged.

Rule Name

The database availability group is experiencing problems that may cause it to fail due to stale security information.

Explanation

This Warning event occurs if problems are detected that may cause the database availability group to eventually fail because the security information is getting too old.

A database availability group (DAG) is a set of up to 16 Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Mailbox servers that provide automatic database-level recovery from the failure of a database, of a server, or of a network. Mailbox servers in a DAG monitor each other for failures. When a Mailbox server is added to a DAG, it works together with the other servers in the DAG to provide automatic, database-level recovery from database, server, and network failures.
