Rule Name

An IMAP4 connectivity transaction failure occurred. The mailbox database isn't unique.

Explanation

The cmdlet that triggered this alert is the Test-ImapConnectivity cmdlet. The Test-ImapConnectivity cmdlet can be used to verify that the Microsoft Exchange IMAP4 service is running as expected. This alert may be generated when the mailbox database names that are used in this test are not unique.

User Action

To resolve this alert, do one or more of the following:

  • Make sure that all mailbox database names are unique.

  • Review the Application log and System log on your Exchange 2010 servers for related events. For example, events that occur immediately before and after this event may provide more information about the root cause of this error.
