New-EmcParallelBookmark

Creates a parallel bookmark for multiple consistency groups.

 

Syntax

New-EmcParallelBookmark -ConsistencyGroups <ConsistencyGroup> -Name <String> -ConsolidationPolicy <ConsolidationPolicy> -ConsistencyType <ConsistencyType> [-Silent] [<CommonParameters>]

 

Parameters

-ConsistencyGroups <ConsistencyGroup>

Attributes: Required, Position: named

Specifies the list of consistency groups for the parallel bookmark.

 

-Name <String>

Attributes: Required, Position: named

Specifies the name of the bookmark.

 

-ConsolidationPolicy <ConsolidationPolicy>

Attributes: Required, Position: named

Specifies the consolidation policy for the bookmark. The available types include: AlwaysConsolidate, SurviveDaily, SurviveWeekly, SurviveMonthly, and NeverConsolidate.

 

-ConsistencyType <ConsistencyType>

Attributes: Required, Position: named

Specifies the consistency type for the bookmark, which can be ConsistencyUnknown or ApplicationConsistent.

 

-Silent <SwitchParameter>

Attributes: Optional, Position: named

Turns off all the informational and verbose messages. However, it still displays errors.

This cmdlet supports these common parameters: Verbose, Debug, ErrorAction, ErrorVariable, WarningAction, WarningVariable, OutBuffer, and OutVariable. Type get-help about_commonparameters for more details.
