Enable-EmcPublisherCertificateValidation

Enables server SSL certificate validation when using SSL to communicate with the specified ESI service.

Syntax

Enable-EmcPublisherCertificateValidation -ServiceName <String> [-Silent] [<CommonParameters>]

Description

The publish commands use a secured channel (SSL) when connecting to the specified ESI service by specifying an HTTPS URL in the Set-EmcPublisherEndpointUrl cmdlet or via the -ServiceURL parameter. This command disables the validation of the server certificate while establishing the SSL connection. This is necessary if the specified ESI service is configured to use a self-signed certificate.
