Use the Product Registration page of the Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager 2007 (DPM) Setup Wizard to enter identification information used to register your copy of DPM.

Elements

Name

Description

User Name

Type your name. When installing DPM, provide the name of a user responsible for administering the DPM server. A user name is required to continue Setup.

Company

Enter the name of your company. Information for this field is optional.

Product Key

Enter the product key information, which is located on the back cover of the DPM product package.

Note
The product key must be entered for the first installation only; for subsequent installations, it will display automatically.

Standard licenses

Enter the number of licenses that you have purchased to authorize protection of file resources and system state.

Enterprise licenses

Enter the number of licenses that you have purchased to authorize protection of both file and application resources.

After entering your identification information, click Next.
