If a filter is no longer useful or if it returns too many results, you can use the following procedure in Data Protection Manager (DPM) to delete the filter.

To delete a filter

  1. In DPM Administrator Console, click Monitoring on the navigation bar.

  2. Click the Jobs tab, and select the filter you want to refresh from the Filters pull-down menu.

  3. From the Actions menu, click Delete filter.

    Note
    The default filter cannot be deleted.
