Installing the HP ProLiant Server Management Packs for
Operations Manager 2007 (x86 or x64 editions)
NOTE: In the file names, n_n
represents the version number (for example, use 1_2 for version
1.2).
If the Operations Manager console is running, then close it.
Install and execute either the
HPProLiantMP0n_n(x86).exe file or the
HPProLiantMP0n_n(x64).exe file on a system hosting
the Operations Manager 2007 Management Server or a system running
remote Operations Manager console.
Click Next.
Select I accept the terms in the license
agreement, and click Next.
To change the destination folder, click Change.
If no folder change is required, click Next, and
then go step 7.
Select the destination folder by using the folder navigation
button to browse to the folder location or by entering the folder
name in the textbox. Click OK.
Select the setup type from the following options, and click
Next.
Complete--Select this setup type to install necessary features
onto the Operations Manager 2007 environment.
Custom--Select this setup type to select the features to install
the Operations Manager 2007 in a console-only environment (Remote
Operations Manager console).
The Custom Data Manager must be installed on all remote
consoles.
Select the required features to install from the menu, and then
click Next.
Select the management packs to be imported into Operations
Manager.
Click Install. The installer imports the
management packs.
