Active Alerts view

The Active Alerts view displays active alerts associated with HP BladeSystem classes including SNMP Trap alerts from the HP BladeSystem and software alerts from the HP BladeSystem Enclosure Monitor Service.

To display details for an alert, select the alert from the Active Alerts pane.

The Alert Details pane displays HP Knowledge base text with the originated Windows NT® Event message in the Alert Description.

Event processing rules included with HP BladeSystem Management Pack for Operations Manager 2007 identify and display HP BladeSystem events received in the Windows® Event Log as Operations Manager alerts. These events are located in the HP BladeSystem event log and are generated by the HP BladeSystem Enclosure Monitor Service.

The following information appears in the Alert Details pane:
