Operations Manager is properly installed on
the system. The HP BladeSystem Management Pack is for use on
systems running Operations Manager.
The HP ProLiant Server Management Pack for
Operations Manager 2007 is properly installed.
The appropriate versions of firmware are
installed on the HP BladeSystem c-Class enclosure. The latest

A network connection exists between the
Operations Manager server (or dedicated managed node where the HP
BladeSystem Enclosure Monitor Service is configured), the managed
HP BladeSystem c-Class enclosures, and the HP Onboard Administrator
Web console. This connection is required to monitor the state of
the HP BladeSystem c-Class enclosures and to capture SNMP Trap
packets generated by HP BladeSystem c-Class enclosures.
An account is set up with the HP Onboard
Administrator Web console to monitor the enclosure. During the last
step of the installation, the user launches the HP BladeSystem
Enclosure Monitor Manager to register HP BladeSystem c-Class
enclosures with user name and password.
The SNMP Trap setting for the HP Onboard
Administrator Web is enabled, and the community string and IP
address of Operations Manager server (or dedicated managed node
where the HP BladeSystem Enclosure Monitor Service is configured)
is registered.
The Windows® SNMP service is configured and
active on the Operations Manager server or dedicated managed node
where the HP BladeSystem Enclosure Monitor Service is configured.
An Operations Manager Agent is installed on the server running the
Enclosure Monitor Service.
PowerShell 1.0 is installed on the
Operations Manager server. For x64 platforms, PowerShell 1.0 64-bit
release must be installed.
