HP SIM provides comprehensive lifecycle
management for multiple hardware resources across a variety of
operating platforms, including servers, clients, printers, and
other networked devices. The HP Management Packs 1.3 for MOM 2005
include a task to launch HP SIM on an identified host computer.
To launch the HP Systems Insight Manager
task:
Open the MOM Operator Console.
Select Public
View.
Select a computer from the Computers view
under the HP ProLiant Servers folder or the HP Integrity Servers
folder.
Click the Tasks button on the menu bar to display
the Tasks pane.
Expand the HP
ProLiant Servers folder or the HP Integrity Servers folder.
Select HP
Systems Insight Manager. A new browser window opens.
