This section provides basic instructions for deploying the
Management Pack in a load-balanced environment with Operations
Manager 2007 deployed on a separate computer in a failover
configuration. Please consult the System
Center Operations Manager 2007 Deployment Guide for details
on deploying Operations Manager 2007.
To deploy the management components the Management Pack into a
load balanced system, and the AVIcode Agent to a Monitored System
with an Operations Manager Agent:
Set up Operations Manager 2007 in a failover configuration
Install the AVIcode Intercept SE-Viewer component from
AVIcode's Management Pack msi installer on each Management System
(where SE-Viewer Server is indicated on the above diagram). AVIcode
Intercept SE-Viewer will install under IIS, and should be
configured for load balancing between each of the SE-Viewer
installations.
Install the Operations Manager 2007 Pack component from
AVIcode's Management Pack msi installer onto each of the OpsMgr
2007 servers. During the installation, set the SE-Viewer location
to the DNS location of each SE-Viewer Server.
