Assessment settings help define the behavior of the assessment when the job runs. Most assessments have recommended settings that are set by default. These settings are exposed and editable for the purposes of customizing an assessment. However, not all assessments have settings that are exposed in the Windows® Assessment Console. If you change the recommended settings, you can revert to the recommended settings so that results are comparable from one run to another. Job templates also use specific settings that can be restored.
